Inter Miami veteran striker Luis Suarez has confirmed he is in talks over a new contract with the club.

The Uruguayan forward has signed a one-year contract with Inter Miami and revealed that his lawyers are in talks over a new deal with the Major League Soccer side.
“I know my lawyers are talking to the club at the moment, but I have a clear idea about how to play this season, which is what I want to do to finish the season as well as possible.”
“Including wanting to show the club that when there is a hunger to play. There is also a sense of good physical condition. And of course, with the hope of continuing to be a part of the club’s history.”
Asked again about a new deal next year to replace his current deal. Which expires at the end of the year. The 37-year-old said: “It depends on the club but if it’s up to me then I’d be delighted.”
This season, Suarez has played 33 games in all competitions for Inter Miami, scoring 22 goals and providing 10 assists.
The forward currently sits third in the Golden Boot standings, slightly trailing Christian Benteke, Cucho Hernández, and Denis Bouanga. His attacking efforts have UFABET also earned him a nomination for the MLS MVP award for 2024.
