Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes Manchester United‘s FA Cup win over Coventry was not good enough to keep Erik ten Hag in the job.

In the game at Wembley, United showed excellent form with a three-goal lead. But were tied 3-3 and had to go to a penalty shootout before Ten Hag’s team won 4-2. Heart-wrenchingUFABET

Although the Red Devils made it through to the finals. Carragher thinks this is not good enough for Ten Hag to keep his seat.

“I think that result would put Eric ten Hag out of work.” Carragher told Sky Sports. “I don’t see how he can stay, definitely not.”

“It was a bad performance after a bad performance. It would be a shameful dressing room from a team that had just won a big game.”

“You can’t celebrate a victory. Maybe the team will be able to win the final game. But I don’t see any development. This is someone’s work we’re talking about. But I just don’t see how they (team owners) can look positively at this situation. I really can’t see it.”

Ten Hag’s side have flattered to deceive all season and find themselves just seventh in the Premier League. And in danger of missing out on European football with six games remaining.
